Ruffle some feathers & get a 9" Ford. Nice & strong, even better with added bracing, lighter than a Dana, more options available, better priced ...
Peasant!
your thinking of putting a FORD part under your car!
I was just a little bit sick in my mouth
The name is KING DANA for a reason.
Next is a Big block Chevy engine
Throw the boat out and stick a mustang badge on it

Summitt sell Strange stuff as well , about the same price. Only benefit is its free shipping in the US over a certain amount (maybe not for a whole axle if they do them) - just if you were thinking of getting stuff to Ron Fenton. Just a snippet for you Don. If your having a 1 off made then no benefit.

Geoff Hauser built my Dana, I already had an axle, he narrowed it to my dimensions & built it up with Strange shafts, Strange suregrip etc, nowadays with more stuff easily sourced from the States, I'd probably get a new one built up over there & ship it back through Ron @ STS.

Hausers do all my work for my ford 9" well happy with there service, ford 9" is really east to change the 'pigs nose' if you want differnet gears, and cheap for parts

After weighing up all the pro's and con's, I've decided to get Geoff to build the axle for me as by the time I've paid shipping and duty etc there's nothing in it to be saved by having it built in the States, plus of course Geoff's work is superb and I've always been more than happy with his service. Once again a big thank you to everyone for all the helpful comments, suggestions and advice

If none of the earlier mentioned will get teh green light we could always get one for you from the US and bring it to the pod at the Main for example. Many many possibilities for it.
Either a 9" or a D60 you can get it any width, any ratio etc.
