Christ. I am finding myself liking these things more and more.

If it wasn't for the fact I couldn't park the bloody thing I wouldn't mind one myself.

Until now, I couldn't think of a car I thought looked better with a vinyl roof but I reckon that would look great with a new WHITE vinyl.
A darker colour would spoil the lines but a bit of white vinyl with the associated trim would break up the vast expanse of white paint and look a bit classier than just a painted roof.

IMHO of course :)

Good on ya for taking the plunge. Hope the rest of the deal goes smooth 8-)
Thanks Rob and its an itch I just had to scratch. I agree, a white vinyl roof as per original would be nice but funds have run dry now. I want to master the painting the roof thing so will paint it then I have a good base if I want to do it in the future. :thumbright:

Are you going to struggle for somewhere to put it if you don't sell the Fury by the time it comes over?

No Carl....fine when I move my caravan but two on the drive is about it realistically. I have a friend who wants her and is looking for storage at the moment but hasnt fully commited to buying. He fell in love with her as soon as she landed on the drive and I had to give him first refusal.

Yeah Drew. they seem to be few and far between and think its quite a rare interior option. She comes with the original build sheet that will give me more info. Not perfect at all but seems to be a good honest car and tbe guy selling has been honest about the little things she needs :thumbright:

Thanks men.....appreciate the compliments :thumbright:

Gaz.....I have to admit that Ive been feeling a bit bullied recently by the two door fraternity! If it helps, I found a lovely brown four door 70 New Yorker in Chicago. I spoke to the guy who was fine and seemed straight up but insisted on cash for her. I have a friend who lives 30 miles away and I said he could drop cash over. He was fine until I said he would have to wait as I would need to wire the money to him so he could Bananarama! and drop it over. He said he had two guys viewing but would get back to me. I heard nothing for a few days then prompted him. I said I would sweeten the deal by giving him the asking price if we could deal and I could Western Union him the cash but he had sold it to the first viewer. He said he was kicking himself as he didnt read the email before the viewings. So, I am trying to stay loyal to the 4 door massive....honest! ;)
