Oh I had some irate ebayers emailing me!
The guy selling the car had over 200 watchers! The bidding finished at 1500hrs yesterday. There were a few fighting it out.
Why do they do that? The last bid went in at 14:59:42 I beat him with 4 seconds to go!
Thats the way the cookie crumbles!!

Nice one Jeff 8)
One of my mates had a N reg Droop snoot Silver with triple blue stripes down the sides and wolfrace slots even had a feature in Street Machine

Oh it is staying stock! This car is gonna be used! Every day! I have just driven it back home.
WOW! It is cool! Just gotta get used to the upside down box.
Really comfy and really holds the turns. But that is what is was built for!
I have every MOT since new. The guy was sad to see it go... 12 years is a long time.

Jeff, that is a beautiful car, always liked the hot 70s Vauxhalls, first car was nearly a Firenza 2.3 when I was 14, but the lack of floors put me off.
Hope to see it in the metal soon. You will have to take it to Harpenden next year and park next to the Silver Bullet.
Top stuff and much more unique than a squashed VW

Hey got it insured yesterday.. So now using it to go tho the train station, about 15 20 miles away... A10 clear then slow... M25 clear, then the run to the staion in traffic.
Keeps up with all the cars, does the speed limits easy. Only problem so far is, it runs very cool while driving, goes to just under norm in traffic. And I accidently turned on the supplimentry fan, so when I stopped it was very lumpy indeed! Wil have to think about that! usually panicing about running too hot.
I did notice a hot air take off from the headers (yes it has em)
That is not connected, and it has aftermarket aiefilters?

I will do that Dave. Think I will put the stock aircleaners on as well. I seem to remember having problems with my old Magnum when those little pancake filters were fitted.

I thought that was tha case Alex.... This car has only covered 1700 miles in the last 12 years. I bet it is NOT used to these cold trips. I will replace this weekend. It is nice driving it mornings and evenings!
