Welcome on board :thumbright: Don't get hung up on 'numbers matching' as Chrysler didn't start numbering engines until 68 anyway. More important is condition and is it the spec that you want. Good luck !

Hi there , car looks great, and like some of the others have mentioned the novelty of a manual may soon wear off especially if you want to drive the car under normal conditions. I remember being caught in traffic in my 71 'runner with a 4 speed and so would not go back, but that's just me, gotta be an auto from now on. Check out the prices in Canada as there are some lush cars there and the prices are very reasonable too.
Good luck

I appreciate the comments on a 4 speed. this would be a weekend car at best and when I can drive so that doesn't put me off. I did used to own a 67 Porsche 912 (Californian import) which although a much smaller engine did have a 4 speed dog leg shifter and was cool with that.

I will try and get out and about (incl shows) and see/drive stuff and yeah the Canadian currency thing is a must check ;)

Welcome matey, what a cracking car that is, don't be put off by the 4 speed, I have a 4 speed and love it. Its true they are a bit of a handful at times but it sorts the men from the boys (wait for the incoming  ) but nothing beats the run off sound the four speeds make once you take your foot off the gas peddle.

Comparing a Porsche 4-speed to a nut-cruncher 4-speed in a B body is like comparing silk with wire wool. Deffo have a drive of one over here before you commit fella.

If matching numbers are a prerequisite then steer clear of the Satellite as they didn't build them with a 440.

Welcome to the club :thumbright:

Ah, them were the days, eh Jem 8-)

Ps - (scuse the thread hijack Jon) - we saw the guy that bought your gold 69 Charger on Sunday at Hertford Heath. In a near-as-dammit 100-point concourse DB5

My dart was a 4 spd for years, mr gasket vertical gate shifter, absolutely loved it. Auto is easier but for the street 4 spd is more fun with the right setup.

Last time I saw him it was a DB4 - will probably be at Tewin later in the year.

Best of both worlds - AUTO with a Reverse Pattern Manual Valve Body:
No Clutch, manual shift like a sequential, what's not to like.....

I'm with you Jem!! ;) ;)

Whatever you get, enjoy your Mopar!! 8-)

He's had it for around 35 years Rob. Bought it off the original owner for around £18k if I remember correctly. Only done approx 20k miles from new.
Going by what they're fetching at the moment I reckon it's easily worth £750k - £1m.
