I must be one of the lucky ones too, we get treated well, made to feel valued, even paid pretty well for our efforts & I'm only a sub-contractor not an employee, I try to perpetuate this by paying my employees well above the going rate for the work they do, treating them as people not numbers & in return I get loyal & conscientious workers (most of the time!).
