5.88!! wow.
Yeah that gets my vote
4.1 you can live with on the road, just (me anyway). But it depends where you are going to be doing the miles.

My Coronet has 4.10 gears (Dana) but I have 30" tall Mickey Thompsons on it and that gives a 2:1 overall ratio regarding engine speed > 2000 rpm = 40mph, ergo 4000 rpm = 80mph; which you can live with - but the pick up is immense!!!!

Pete what size are tyres? I'm running 295/50 at the moment. 4K 80mph I could live with sit at 60 on motorway normally as caravan is on the back

M/T 29.5 x 12.5 x 15's - actually work out at 30" tall on an 8.5" Rim....

....mind you, a Coronet has big rear wheel tubs, probably larger than a Charger.

they are the same the coronet still has that stupid bulge in the outer wheel house to restrict tires a bit like on a charger

Don't mind having two sets of rear wheels 1 tall tyres for street and 1 for strip
Thou Pete n Dunc now have me seriously considering the 4.10's
Swapping back to 4 speed from auto as original 4 speed car and I enjoy driving it on street more with manual but yeah now the trans will be a weak point as after blowing the release bearing 1 time then 2 events later blowing clutch that's why I went with tci race auto. So billet flywheel twin disc clutch will being fitted.

After lots of research the difference in motorway rpm 3.73 - 4.10 isn't that much and 4.10 more punch of the line so I've ordered 4.10's just need some 295/65x15 tyres now

It will be interesting to see how the track times stack up, it is hard to be consistent with a swore speed.

Yeah I know Pete but miss driving with the 4 speed and more of a challenge on the strip. Looking at twin disc clutch and hydraulic throw out bearing but $$$$

heres what i run shaun, 3.73,s on 275x60x15 approx 27" tall on the street 60 mph@3000rpm 70@3650 just enough to deal with motorway work, 28x10.5 on the track and still good enough for 11.8.s with mild converter, if your towing a caravan to the track you should be fine with 4.10s as i guess your limit is 55-60
