I'm hoping they get on of the new Alfa Guilia Cloverleafs (500hp) to test.... first new Alfa to get rave reviews in the press for decadesmorgan wrote:I liked it. Still watching. LeBlanc still the highlight.
Ken Block next week - that should be good. Still waiting for the RS focus...
Ooh. Like the sound of that. I for one am enjoying this current hyper-hatch-willy-waving-contest.RobTwin wrote:I'm hoping they get on of the new Alfa Guilia Cloverleafs (500hp) to test.... first new Alfa to get rave reviews in the press for decadesmorgan wrote:I liked it. Guilia is in the same class as the 3 Series I believe, and follows on from the 159. Looks like a fantastic car........do love Alfas and think the interior styling is one of the best for its price class. Current daily is a Mito and it's an absolute peach of a motor.morgan wrote:Ooh. Remember when the golf 16v and the escort RS Turbo knocked it up to 130bhp the big power number ? Then a few hit 150 (calibra 16v etc). Then there was the 306 172... Then the typeRs started hitting 200.
Now you can get a golf with 300, a ford focus with 350 and a baby alfa with 500! I love it.
Yeah, not very imaginative with their names, are theymorgan wrote:Ah ! I thought you meant guilietta (or whatever its called). You can see why that was
That's the one where they did a burnout next to the cenotaph and got a big rollocking for it.........Look forward to seeing what he doesRobTwin wrote:Yeah, not very imaginative with their names, are theymorgan wrote:Ah ! Anyhoo, back on topic - preview for next weeks show shows Ken Block in his Hoonigan Mustang tearing it up round a deserted central London, with Matt LeB riding shotgun
It wasnt next to the cenotaph. Media crusade to generate controversy.Dave81 wrote:That's the one where they did a burnout next to the cenotaph and got a big rollocking for it.........Look forward to seeing what he doesRobTwin wrote:Yeah, not very imaginative with their names, are theymorgan wrote:Ah ! That is so right a 3.0S capri had 138 bhp are seemed like a rocket and XR3i with 105 not know many cars now with less than thatmorgan wrote:Ooh. Like the sound of that.
