Drum brake problem... help!!

I've just chamfered the shoes and sanded them too- they were heavily contaminated with axle oil on that side. I wonder if that's what made them 'grabby'? Before I'd cleaned the oil off that brake wouldn't have been working at all.
Off to the chippy now, assembly and test later...
