Thanks. Don....more than happy to crack on with the static side of stuff and leave the man stuff to the men
Does your car have to be entered on the show n shine list or are race cars on a different list?
Cheers Steve

So, the MMA drag strip racer's list thus far:
Don Scott ... '70 Superbird
Roydon Mitchell ... '68 Barracuda
Pete Wiseman ... '72 Challenger
There are others but this is just the MMA list
C'mon guys, this great fun and only being 1/8 mile is'nt that hard on the car, but as Pete rightly says, you MUST have good brakes

Morning all....thanks for all your support with this men
We now have enough for a club plot. There are still 5 spots available so please don't be shy. Good opportunity to put on a good display for the club and enjoy some 1/8th mile racing etc.
Thanks to everyone for the prompt payment as well, appreciate it.
I will update with camping details etc as soon as the list is complete.
Cheers Steve

Quick update.....
I have just put our booking form in to the organisers and have details of the camping if needed. This is the relevant section from the email I received..
When booking a car club into this event, each vehicle on the stand needs to pay a £5 admin fee, this includes entry for the driver and one passenger per vehicle for the entire weekend. (Maximum 10 vehicles per club stand) These will be your weekend passes whether you choose to camp or not and will grant you access into the show on both days as well as the evening entertainment on Saturday night.
Camping is bookable via the website
www.sywellclassic.com at £60 per pitch, this is for 3 nights and each pitch can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. No need to purchase additional weekend passes as you will already have these with your club stand.
Im struggling to find the section to actually book the camping but as soon as I sort this out, I will post it up.
Cheers steve

hi Steve, just tried looking for camping on its own but you're right -no section !
do we get a discount on the £60 as making the effort to show our cars ?
just a thought as well-the space we got last year was very tight maybe worth reminding them the club cars are quite big (except for my compact A body)
