That's fine on the Sunday Pete, but I've had trouble getting past them on the Friday and Saturday. They stop you long before the show'n'shine area.

Tell them you have been out to the shops and you are going back to your caravan or tent.

Getting fed up with some jobsworth trying to make me park in a muddy spectator car park on the wrong side of the track, because I'm not racing. If I drive a Mopar 300 miles to the Mopar Nationals, I expect to be part of the event.
I may as well come in the Jeep!
Tell them you are racing Adam job done mucker ,

Tried that Dunc. He said I had to park the car in the mud, walk round to sign on, then come back to show him the ticket. At which point I told him to F off and drove past him. Really don't need this crap.
That is a load of bollax matey,, drive by n pretend not to see em,,

You'd think it were that simple... A mate of mine got pulled over by one of them at another event and was told to pull in to go sign on before he was allowed round.
He was only driving a big Isuzu truck that was pulling a trailer with his race car on the back!

will be there Thursday afternoon as usual with caravan , and will be parking in the regular spot. Some scruffy dick is not going to be telling me where I can park after all these years and when you have come a long way I certainly would not like to stick my car in a muddy area after washing and cleaning ..................but saying that still best event of the year and would never miss it so bring it on coz it's all down hill after the Nats.
Looking forward to seeing everyone

Yes Richard , will be a sad one for sure, will miss him , Tracey says it will not be the same without him, but whilst ever we remember him he lives on , I think a few toasts to our departed mate are on the cards
See you then pal

We've survived worse than that at the Nats, weatherwise. Won't stop me going.
