So. Bought the work hack ,after I sold the 02 Ram, oh moved nearly a year ago to a place with a garage , changed jobs , divorced.........................., Hoping to get back out in the Coronet this year.
Was going to plan until last Friday after work.
Left the car park , heading for home and a weekend of chilling with my lovely lady , when a 100 yards up the road a drugged up teenage ? girl and her aunts dog decide to look the wrong way to cross the road , and step in front of me !!!!
Tried to swerve , hit a curbed island , which kept me on course for her and the dog. Not a nice start to a weekend !
Thankfully she wasn't hurt bad ( dog broke its hip  ), but now I've a smashed up work hack , that will hopefully mend cheaply ,but what a pain. Got no chance of getting a penny I doubt ? Lots of witnesses which is a result , but the police didn't even turn up. I waited 3 hours , to be told to go home in the end !!!!!
What a joke. Could have been smashed out of my brain , in a stolen car , and got away Scott free !!!!
Sorry. Rant over.
I'll be back out in Mopar land one day !!! [-o<

Bad luck Mossy, that sounds like an unpleasant experience. I can't believe the police were that useless given the circumstances  Good you got plenty of witnesses though. I hope you get the hack fixed, worth talking to your insurers? isn't there some fund to cover uninsured losses ?

I hope you get the Coronet back out soon (even if it does have a few extra doors  ).

I thought if there is an injury that the Police have to respond???

On a positive note, good job it was in the hack rather then the Ram.......

Keep the faith buddy, life is all about challenges!! :thumbright:

Cheers guys,
I only posted this up due to frustration, and needed a rant !!! :D
Just wanted to let you lot know I'm still Mopar to the core
Was really pushing to get the Coronet to the Nats ( with all its extra doorage!!!), but this has been a knock to both funds and time.
Not giving up yet though ........... :thumbright:

Bloody hell mate feel the pain.

I’m sure you’ve thought about claiming on the insurance, given the circumstances I’m sure you’d be able to make that work, bummer to loose no claims etc.

Not long until the nats mate and I can assure you I’m looking forward to seeing you and the gang then,Lucy wants to come too👍 Louise doesn’t really get camping yet and the thought of sleeping in the van with us is enough to put her off.

Get the Coronet on the go,a bit of therapy 👍
