Think I would rather start with something not needing any bodywork to be honest. I will have the funds in the new year. I hate bodywork. Love the mechanical and electrical stuff though. ;-)

I'm with you there, no fan of bodywork either...

The second word I'm thinking of is "off". :geek:

No I got fed up driving a car that was reliable, comfortable, cheap to run, less than a second slower on the strip than my old 500hp Challenger but 175mph top speed, a fraction of the cost to buy and three times the fuel economy.

I must have been mad to drive a car like that for 8 years or whatever it was.

I must admit I am really enjoying using my Jeep as a daily driver. Feels very American to drive. 2.5 tons of fun. :D

So what floats your boat Dave, something with a modern drivetrain swapped in perhaps?

The trouble with modern engines and control systems is you get engine fault lights if any one of the thousand sensors goes slightly out of spec.

No I will stick to old school for what will probably be my last Mopar. It's a shame Matt Snowball is doing an Race AAR Cuda clone. I have fancied doing a street tribute version for a number of years.
But when I start looking around seriously I will probably buy the first E or B body that tickles my fancy if it is good enough and has plenty of potential to "make my own" with a bit of tinkering. ;)

Good to have the return of your massive knowledge combined with a unique way of expressing a point Dave! 8-)
