That really is an over grown mk2 cortina estate, real cool. and back in the day steve case used to tow his challenger the pod with the fast back version how cool is that

Hi Matt,
The buyer has been in touch with me. The car is in Devon, I think.
That very car is actually mentioned in my website which is why he got it touch. Trying to get some more info about it but yes it sat in a garage for 33 years.
Really nice to see an untouched square block 302Cleveland too.

A guy got in touch with me three years ago selling a very nice South Efrican ZG Fairlane.
Still get lots of folk asking about XB hardtops... surprise.

I know the guy who bought the XA wagon, an Australian guy who lives down in Devon, he used to have a very nice Holden ute, think it was a HQ. I wish I had seen the listing when it was for sale as wanted a wagon for years.

hope not too many niggles
the guy who had it before had the cash and motivation to keep it nice as far as i can tell, was mates with a chap down the road from me
this car came to top gear with me and VIP steve...

A few niggles, but hay ho, nothing that cannot be sorted.
The seller gave me heaps of photos of the car, including some from the Top Gear day.
Will have a look for some more.

Love that to bits. You'll have to let me sit in it one day! I've been for a spin round the block at The Ace Cafe in Mark's orange and mahogany one before Mark owned it, many years ago.
