I'm surprised as you don't see many burnt orange at all, but the green is everywhere, on lots of 4 doors and wagons of the same era too.

me too, although i should clarify those numbers are specifically for 8cyl Charger 500 from 70 Charger Registry

Perhaps burnt orange car buyers were more outgoing and destroyed them, hence fewer left now?

That green is one of my favourite Mopar colours. My pal imported an extremely original (and extremely dirty) 70 Chrysler Newport in this colour. We spent the day cleaning and polishing it. The original paint was stunning and a days work literally added thousands onto the price he sold it for. Really popped in the sun.

Anyone know what they sold for?

Good prices for both. That is potentially a new high over here for a 70 Charger.

I'm glad I'm into C Bodies.... unless you are into A bodies this is becoming a rich man's hobby at those prices!!

£59k for a none original Challenger seems a lot, considering you can buy an original numbers matching R/T 383 for £52k.

It does, but some might just prefer white to purple.
Matching numbers is nice if you have it, but not a reason to walk away from a car.
Add in a bit of cabin fever, auction frenzy and having to bid on line, that white car is strong money but if someone is prepared to pay it, then that is the market.

It mainly means that everyone with a Challenger should check what they have it insured for as it will cost more to replace.
