Sounds like it could be a blast!
Went to the island a few years ago for the Manx GP. Excellent fun!
Rode the course a few times but I won't be doing any fast laps in the old bus this time around.
I'll keep an eye out for updates

Think everyone will enjoy this trip and a huge thanks to Pete for all his hard work with the liaison etc.
If you've never been, it's well worth a drive around to explore. I would definately try to do a cruise around the TT course (37 miles clockwise from Douglas). Current lap record is 16mins 42 sec at an average speed of 135.4 mph. It will blow your mind when you start thinking about what those riders can do! It will also give you a good feel for the island.
I would also recommend a run down to the Calf of Man on the south point. Lovely views and a nice big cafe there too for lunch etc. The North point up by the lighthouse is nice on a fair weather day.
Be prepared for a traditional Manx welcome along the lines of 'when are you leaving'. The locals are very protective of what they have there and can occasionally be a little offish with visitors. It's rare now, but just be aware if you get the cold shoulder for no apparent reason, don't take it personally

Those of you that know about 'Harry's Garage' on youtube may have seen this already, but if not, it's worth a watch as an I.O.M. teaser...
