Tough choice picking a favourate car.....
Richards 71 'Cuda is awesome, fantastic detail and the car is almost a sleeper with no bill boards or any other dress up bar the shaker.
The Duster the French guy had (the green one) was nice it really stood out in that colour
Jim's Hemi 'Cuda, 'nuf said, still one of the finest Mopars in England
Adams Coronet, seems to get overlooked but it is one nice car and the colour combo with the stripe takes some beating !
The 69 GTO, did anyone else notice that car? it looked stock apart from the rims, yet ran a no fuss 11.4 ! aparently it had digital EFI etc etc on there, wicked car !
too many to mention really...

1st time Ive seen most of these cars in the steel so bowled over by most of it!
1st Hemi Daytona
Then Superbird, Superbee and gorgous light metallic green Coronet R/T.
Ive got to say it, the Buick, Chevy and Olds muscle and the noise they made was absolutley awsome, damn nearly converted me to GM!

Boy that's a tough choice Jim. Graham's A12 Bee was a deserved BOS winner, and Richard's 440-6 Cuda was a close runner up, but Stuart and Robert's 63 Polara 500 Max Wedge clone really blew my frock up.

For me the favourite of the weekend was one not listed so far, Adrian Wilds Curious Yellow 71 Roadrunner, I have always loved this car with airgrabber and Go- Wing, and over the roof strobes, and Saturday afternoon Adrian threw me the keys!!
Having never driven a B body I was very very careful, and had a little drive round the site.
I was grining for hours afterwards.
Loved it .
Second choice - Butterscotch Bee . Need I say more, simply fabulous, I reckon we may see that colour on some more cars now we know how great it is.

my favorite car at the nats other than ours was George Chiles' 69 roadrunner, a deserved winner of the Ultimate European Mopar, driven 160 miles, bolted slicks on and run extreme low 11's, heard a certain person slagging the car on the cruise but hey if he didn't want it altering he should never have sold the car! i think most people will know who i mean

I have never slagged the car if you mean me, in fact quiet the opposite, I think what he has done with it is outstanding, what I have said and I stand by it, is it is a shame that all that work was done to a very original Road Runner, especially one with a factory air grabber when the same result could have been had with a Satelite.
As for I should neber have sold it, you are right, that was my car for life, but as you have no idea of the facts behind why I had to part with it I suggest you keep comments like that to yourself.
I will say again, on the record, just for you. I think George has built an amazing car, I love the colour and I love the fact he has gone the procharger route, the car looks and sounds amazing and the fact he has not turned it into a trailer quenn gets my upmost respect.

No argument from me Terry, just stating the facts, I have worked too hard over the years with this club to get a reputation for 'slagging off' cars, especially when I have never done that.

Well mine was a stock '69 valiant 2 door post sedan, never seen one over here before and I'd love to get me hands on it...Loved matt's old wagon too, it sat just right! Also liked the hemi motor in dave billedou's gtx it just looks hooge! Lots of super clean cars too which is great, but it tends to be the slightly shabby ones that have some real attitude that I find myself drawn to, sometimes perfect just don't do it for me....
