Great Day again at the "Ace". Me and James got there about 10:45am and all that was there was a brand new Monaro. Many more of those turned up early on and as Kev said pretty much kept to themselves then left. We met a couple there who had not come along for the Aussie day, he is Spanish (lives about an hour and half from my parents) and is a biker, over hear visiting his English girlfriend and said he had to go to the Ace, ended up chatting to them for most of the afternoon and left about 10:30pm.
There was a gorgeous Holden EH estate, who's owner used to work in Tonsley Park around '71/'72 when the Chargers were being built there.
The only Aussie Ford was a Ford Landau which is in brilliant condition.
About 8:30 a guy called Tom turned up in a '69 Road Runner, he was there to meet some friends and new nothing about the day that had been on, I didn't talk to him that much so I let James fill you in on his car.

Glad that you had a good time Laura, James, Kev (and I assume Matt).
The Fords weren't invited this year, but maybe next (if they have one.)
But nice to see Malky's old Landau from up here being enjoyed by its new owner down there.

Who didn't invite the Fords?
I was under the impression it was an open show for all Aussies?

Ah yes, I briefly saw Kev and Phil outside my house.... There's evidence of Kev's presence still on the road outside my neighbours house 8)
There was a plesant lingering smell of burnt rubber in the air afterwards too....
