Hey Adam the main thing is you got back safe and sound with the Pit not broken

You are playing with the big boys now and will soon learn how to control the gas
And you know what to do next , spend more money on it

You put bran sauce on yer friggen breakfast.
Adam if you can tie that back end down put me down for a 10.
Absolutely awesome to see the Pit from the barn, launched like a dog with its tail on fire, hooked up with no wheel spin then about 200 feet out (geargchange?)the rear wheels screamed and she slewed sideways thought you were going to back end the wall.
That track takes your shoes off when you walk on it so to spin the tyres up 200 feet out takes some doing.
don't be disappointed you knocked 2 tenths of your time I reckon that's about
£1000 per tenth

Some of the top F's were flying but many were short of grip off the line I think the best was in the sixes frighting, I watched it from beside the sign in office and it was painful like a mini earthquake.
I thought if this thing blows it will take out about 200 trackside.
Made your eyes sting and tasted orrid.
The best bike did a 7.4 at 194 mph in Espanol "Al perra cahones."
much respect.

Well that rules out the track. What psi does Adam run in his slicks? You should aim for a straightline at the bottom of the slick of about 6" at standstill. How old are they? Is it worth Gorilla Snotting them?

Well done so far Adam-!
Bet you have it sorted by the HRDs
Had a smile that you got lost on the way to the pod with your Sat Nav - specially after the slating I got from you and Alan when I did the same at the Fastfest!
Anyway keep up the good work mate!!

His rears were set at 10 Psi he has Caltracks and comp shocks.
The tyres (Hoosies) after the first run were still cold to the touch and his adjustable shocks were on a scale of 1-9 set at 9.
He reset to 3 for the last run it was better but the Pit still squealed like a pig.
I like the sound of gorilla snot, great name for a gasser kev.

Were they still hot all the way across? I remember Philth feeling me old SuperChargers after my monster Ace burnout. "They're stone cold!" " Ow! Ouch! Ow! They're red hot in the middle!!!!"

We need to see the timing ticket & in particular 60 foot time & top end mph....Going THAT fast is not easy, or everyone would be doing it - but you will get there...

"Gorilla Snot" is an old Essex expression for that goopy tyre softener. If your slicks are new then you don't need it, there's something else amiss. Could your SureGrip suddenly be unloading after the abuse in first gear? Are the slicks underinflatd? I run 10.5" and about 12psi in my light A-body and they really dig in. Are the rims wide enough for your slicks? Have you the faciliities to do a burnout with the slicks on and check the contact patch? With the low pressure are they growing in the middle by the 1/8th causing the lack of traction? Have they got tubes? And are they the right size tubes?

Good point, Pete! Let's see a complete timing slip
