Blue would nt a 4 port regulator have been more simple with aeroquipe hose ...or is this to much added weight ?

I could have gone that way Steve but I'm trying to use as much of the parts I've already got. Actually managed to get a bit done today for the first time in about the last 6 weeks  found the phasing on the Moped Performance dizzy was a mile out, redrilled the base plate to correct that. Got half the plug leads made up, finish the rest tomorrow. Drilled the new hood for the Dzus fasteners, need to sort the scoop next. Will have to get back to working on the house next week, so that's going to be it for a while. Here's where I'm at now...

A thing of beauty, as ever. 8-) I shall miss being able to pop in periodically and see the progress. :(

Nats a goer, Blue?

I'm sure they weigh less than nothing! They are ridiculously light. I was amazed when I got me hands on one.

I reckon if he could find a way around leakage, he'd drill 'em too. :D

Well here it is love it or loath it, I'm happy with it. Had to give up on the clear scoop idea, it would have meant starting off again with a new buck of a completely different shape (sort of like a capsule) which wasn't what I wanted at all. I had enough money in it already so I had it moulded in fibreglass. Need to do a bit of final trimming and I can bond it on. The blower carbs I was trying to use just didn't work out at all. So I bit the bullet and had Pro Systems custom build me a proper pair of tunnel ram carbs. They're a bit on the bling side for my tastes, but hopefully they'll dull down a bit. And that's about all the progress I've made in the last couple of months....

...or the 'Pod RWYB the day after the Firework spectacular?

You better make one of these gigs or you will have to date the title of this thread so we know which winter ;) ;)

'Fraid not Dave, car still has a few issues to sort that require time and money, neither of which I've got much of right now, I've pretty much written this year off. Really looking forward to doing a proper shoot at some point though!

No worries Blue, out of 25 cars I pencilled in for this year I managed to get 4 done. It's not easy, weather, other commitments, events to cover, breakages, or cars just not finished....there are just nor=t enough weekends in the year for everything. I am moving home mid/end October(look out Ivor) so I will pretty much be out of action for the rest of the year now....unless anyone gets their car out in the snow :)
