Thanks for the positives feedback,
Ade the hood took a fair bit of work but worth the effort I think.
Ivor, you are right, 2009, it was nearly sold as a re-shell for a 71 R/T.
James, you need to rattle the gate harder. If the garage door is up I am there, just probably buried under wet or dry paper and filler dust.
James, will need to try and book you and Andy for the screen fitting soon, possibly a week from now?
Whole car wet flatted yesterday, 8am - 10pm, with just breaks for food and forum! Now to tidy the garage, mask up and spray the final thin primer coat.

What you need is an automatic gate with audio entry

Now who could do that?

Nice work Matt and great progress. As a matter of interest where did you get the TA hood scoop from as we fancy one of those..... but didn't want to fork out for a full glassfibre hood version.........

I was very lucky that a member on here had a second hand one.
They are available as a scoop only in the US, I found it easily, will try to find the link again. but it is a lot of work to cut the hole and make it fit , and its a B*****d to paint.
Hans at Six Pack Speedshop can do the whole glass T/A hood at a good price apparently which would be lots less work.

I presume you're painting the roof black?
And reproducing the other cool stuff like the black on the scoop, T/A stripe, the '77s' & Dodge decal?

the roof is black and masked off, the small decals and R/T stripe are in my box of bits and the large numbers and lettering are to be made in that place round the corner from Stu.
Front snow plough I shall be tapping up the Bassingbourn/Whaddon posse!!

It's great to have a car that's all one colour, isn't it?! Well done, coming on in leaps and bounds now.
