Citrus degreaser cheap works well safe for the environment and can be used around the home too.

That looks great Gary!!! Love the rocker covers.....have you tried Jizer?? (Not jizzer as my lad calls it...thats a different thread!!). Its a bit more chemically than the stuff Carl uses . Brush on, leave a few mins, agitate with a brush then wash off with soapy water. Good stuff :thumbright:

I LOVE MY MOPAR !!!!!!!!!!
And I don't care how many doors it has :P

No update. Just been driving and driving. Seems to be getting better by the day. Squeaks / rattles disappearing. Had a little stumble off idle. Gone.
Love this car. I've been using it daily for about a month and when the sun's shining , windows down ( all 4 ) V8 singing there's no place I'm happier !
Probably jinxed myself now but what the heck. It's my second Mopar that's making me smile so I don't care !!!!
Getting a bit of a soft spot for this one.
( needs to be quicker though :D )

That's it from me. Happy man of Mopar :thumbright:

Night night Net.

<img src="" alt="Uploaded with Imgupr">

Well.
Yesterday morning I had a braking incident. Foot went flat to the floor. Warning light on. I pumped like crazy and pressure returned and light went off. Took it steady to GS and chucked it on the ramp to have a look. No leaks and all brakes look good ( apart from the half shaft " sweat" turning to a full blown leak and contaminating the shoes !!)
I've come to the conclusion that the master cylinder is on its last legs. So with that in mind and the leak I decided to tuck it away as I need to prep the truck for winter ( service and tune up etc )
A lovely day here so a good clean and polish. Gibbs in all the moisture traps and into its winter home.
Must say I feel quite flat. Really enjoyed driving it this year and attending a few events etc. bigger and better next year !!!!
Time to start collecting parts.

Question now chaps. The car has been power drums from the factory but I think it has an Alien servo ?( looks GM to me. I'm probably wrong though !)

Never did clean the engine bay !!!!
Oh well. The oil will stop the rot !

Nice hideaway there Gary....bet she comes out again though!

Sounds like a similar prob I had with my car when I first had her...no leaks at the wheels so just banged a new master cylinder on and cured. That booster does look a bit different but someone will know exactly what it is for you :thumbright:

It's a massive farmhouses old carriage shed !
The farmer is a lovely bloke and has some real nice storage areas. Has 75 stables for horses right up to modern roller shuttered units with hot and cold water , toilets etc !!! Love one of those but way out of my budget !!
Must say although I'm missing the Net I missed me old truck. Low geared 360 , bouncy and rough and ready. Still makes me laugh after nearly 7 years!!!

Oh. And this is a doorers thread so the experts daren't post on here!! :D

Good job you didn't loose your brakes at 70 on the M'way Gary........See Mopars are considerate in some aspects! :D

The photo through the doors looks like a Barn find special........ 8-)

I'd get all new Mopar parts myself and get it back as it should be......Brakes and Steering are the two area's i'll happily pay big money for as they are the most dangerous if it goes wrong!

Having the winter off to fix it.........You'll love it when spring comes round! :thumbright:

Popped down to see the old 4 door today.
Still like the day she went in on 6 th October.
Fired up a treat and put a nice smile on my face.
Gutted I had to shut the door and leave it there.
Ah well. She'll keep.
