Will s/steel rad pipes not be susceptible to cracking?

Thanks Alan, for a miss match of parts its not turned out too bad

Good question db, there's rubber joints on the pipes at several points throughout the system, which should take out much of the vibration, if there's any problems more joints can be added.
I spoke to the garage today and the brackets have been fitted to the pipes, so its down to testing for water leaks then hopefully get the fluids in the engine and test the starter side of the loom.

Morning everybody,
A quick update before i go out on my bike, first time out since all the bad weather so not looking forward to it to be honest
Right then, the bleed nipple in the top hose has been fitted, and the system has been checked for leaks, all the leaks have been sorted and the system has been refilled
The carbs have been fitted for the last time, just need to connect up the missing fuel line, six inches to each carb and thats finished
Engine and trans have the fluids in, so this week

we're going to turn over the motor to check oil pressure, and then all being well fire the son of a bitch
Oh and the coupe has had a small write up in Custom Car this month, just a progress report with other cars that are been built at the moment, so its all finally coming together, and to be honest its about time

Must be a Northern thing

(only joking)
I had a bust up with my old man when i was a gobbie youth

something i'm not proud of, sort of the same as in nature, when its time test the Alpha male, and then find out very quickly you shouldn't off
He'd done twenty two years service with the Army, Eight on the regimental boxing team, i knew exactly where i was in the food chain after that

Hi Everybody
Sorry for the delay in updating, we only managed to get oil pressure last week, we ran out of time and battery
But last night we managed to fire up the engine

and to be honest what a relief, a big thanks to MCK for sticking with it, there's been a lot of late nights and scratching of heads, neither of us are engine or hot rod builders, so another big thanks to Jimmy at VG for late night advice and letting us work on the car when he should be doing it, its been a long road and it's caused a lot of arguments at home, but i'm not living in a bedsit just yet
The engine sounds strong and crisp with no leaks, there's still a few small jobs to do but the back is broken, and very nearly mine as well, this build has taken me right to the edge, and i'm not sure i would want to be taken this close again.
Saying that the Coupe is Awesome, and its still the same car i envisioned at least three years ago
I do have a couple of picture's to post, there the boot catches, i've been trying to find these for a long time now, first saw them in a mag a couple of years ago, but no info where or what they came from, so i showed the picture's to anybody and everybody, and bingo there vintage boat locker latches, to stop stuff from flying about in storms

I wanted something simple, but not modern racing catches to spoil the look of the car, and these are just right.
Hopefully a video with sound next weekend

Hi bbb
No problem at all
A friend has done a photo shop thing for the old style scollop's, there reversed just to be a little different, the long one is almost always at the bottom of the car, and sometime they have a center spear, but i think it looks better this way
