Sounds Like a plan - got an address in the Fens??

Right, things went a bit quiet as work was busy and my MMA membership expired. All sorted now, and with the cash I've been earning I've put a lot the Charger's way. The fully rebuilt 383 was started for the first time last night. She sounds sweeeet. There's now a vinyl roof fitted, there's an alloy rad, new manual drum brakes, rebuilt manual steering, Hemi rear leafs and R/T front torsion bars.

I am desperately trying to get her MoT'd for a maiden voyage to WHEELS DAY. It's going to be tight because I have to register it once MoT'd and there's still loads to do.

Can anyone tell me where to get new seatbelts from? I need a pair for the front ASAP otherwise I'm screwed.

Got a few other 'wants' too. Will list!

As you can see, I had the repaired rear end painted. We matched the bronze colour but gunned green on first, then the bronze afterwards. The reason for this is so that we can start to cut back the paint and let the original green come through. The bonnet is now matt black (dents and all). Engine all repainted with Chrysler Blue POR15 and rebuilt with new alternator, electronic ignition and powder-coated brackets/snorkel air cleaner.

They cost $375 and are the full set, you can have bucket or bench seat sets and they are fronts and rears. Loads of different colours too. I'm getting mine from them, the bloke that runs it is cool, chatted to him and had stuff off him before. You get what you pay for it's all top stuff.

I may have a set of (blue) belts out of the Barracuda that would get you by if you were in a hurry.

If Pete's belts are no good as a quick fix, Dunc ( Cannonball ) is worth a try from his parts super shed.

What year do you need seatbelts fitted from, to pass an MOT ??? If you don't need them they can't fail you for not having them.

If needed you can get away with just lap belts on a yank if it makes it easier, then fit the top belts later if you want them. Lots of people only use lap belts.

Thank you fellas. I need belts (front) for pre 1965 cars. I'm looking for lap belts so if the Barracuda ones are ok can you give me your number Pete? That'd be great! Need them asap....

I'm also looking @ Autometer below dash gauges because the dash seems to be a bit grubby and broken - who can I send away the dash clocks (tick-tach tock etc) to be reconditioned and how much is it?

If you get stuck for genuine Mopar lap belts and need some for the MOT this place sell belts to the Kit car boys. A lot of the Hot Rodders buy the 210 rear belts Static (£50 the pair ) from them to use as front lap belts to get on the Drag strip at Shakey Raceway. They will sell you one lap belt for £25 if needed.

Year 1 do a tic toc tach with quartz movement. Its over $400 though to memory.

Gone for some small electronic Autometers from Real Steel as needed 'em double quick.

Isn't there a bloke in the USA you can send off your dash gauges to and he reconditions them? I had read about it before but wondered....

SMS Autoinstruments Recon gauges - do a good job too. They'll have yer pants down though. Not cheap.

Not toooo expensive, depends what you need done tho. They can do mechanical rebuilds or just cosmetic, or both. Did a good job for us

I was going on the premise that one might have the full works Sir, on the whole cluster. That is quite expensive.
