looking good Blue, what are the flexible fuel lines made of, are they the woven plastic covered type?? why didnt you use traditional braided, is it too heavy :lol:

It's convoluted PTFE with a woven Nomex outer braid Trev. Very light and much more flexible than stainless braided. I prefer the look of it as well, stainless can look a bit too flashy when you've got a lot of it on show.

must agree it does look good, do you think the air filters will flow enough air, they look a little small. or will you remove them to race??

Yes they are a bit small, I especially wanted that type for the period look, I'll take 'em off at the track.

Blue, cant you use the F/Glass mould to make a solid Buck that you can then use to form a perspex mould over with heat.

We used to form glass this way making lenses at my first work place
solid buck the shape needed and then place in a Kiln with a glass sheet and it would mould slowly to the shape....fantastic results.

and perspex would nt need anywhere that much heat !!
Just a thought.

PS you havent drilled your fan blades :D
