Rocket or Space Ships Dunc?

The Rocket (as per page one of this thread) is going to be a couple of months away at the least. The space ships are collecting dust 'til I get round to them.

Anyway, this is my latest find. Depending on when you view this it'll either be sold or more hopefully to me - not.

I'm hoping it won't sell and I'll make an offer after the auction ends.

I reckon it would make one hell of a coffee table (albeit very long) and by the time I'm finished with it something pretty special.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140873274420? ... 1438.l2649

Fingers crossed.

Well it didn't sell which is good news :thumbright:

Before the auction ended I put a casual enquiry to the seller about the possibility of him shipping it to Ron's place in Florida, naturally thinking he'd tell me where to go.

As it happens he said that if I wasn't in any rush he'd ship it for $250. I'm thinking to do that from one side of the States to the other is a bit of a bargain.

Next step will be to get in touch with him to see what he'll take for it. I've already emailed Ron for a quote to then get it here.

Dunc, any Space Ship is yours complete with ray guns. Be aware that they're bloody heavy tho mate.

Remember these bad boys?

Now looking a few thousand years old and absolutely indistinguishable from rusted iron.
