Is it just the Superbee at the NATS this year then or is the Dart coming too?
Thanks Dave, Julie and her friend Andrea will be in the Bee at the Nats - I will probably be relegated to the Van with all the Race spares as usual.....

Hats off to all Pete Smith's hard work 8-) 8-) 8-)

In terms of the cage, the final touches were the Swing-out Door bars.

The Challenger internal "door cards" (They are BIG plastic one-piece mouldings...) do intrude a lot so access to the door release and window winder are always a bit of a "Challenge"....

..Also as Julie may drive this car (she won't go near the Altered) I wanted to make it as user friendly as possible....

Pete worked his magic on the door bars accordingly...

Interestingly, at the Brand Hatch Speedfest event, I got talking to a young lad with an early Ford Falcon 'Ute / Pickup.

It turned out that his family owned the Challenger before Duncan had it and raced it ("Beat on it" ) for many years prior to the car changing hands.

It's a small world.....

Nicely done, at least he didn't have to sink them into the inner wings as well, had to do that on mine for tyre clearance. Trying to work in so many planes at once is both time consuming and brain ache!

I quite agree - I think you have a little bit more room to play with on an "E" Body than an "A" with tall tyres.

Thanks also to Dave Billadeau who showed me the 'Bird before he sold it and advised me what the options were for the front end bracing.

A lot of work in there and Relatively Expensive and I hope worth it....almost a tube car now ;) ;) ;) ;)

Your more than welcome Pete.

Was done in one hit on the front frame rail to cage connectors with no templates :)

But as blue says, once you have factored in bend start and end points/bend offsets/center line radius and bend rotation when you have more than one bend on a single tube its a total brain ache, but does get easier as the years go on....

Pete, i was talking to Tom (Atkinson) the other day aswell about the car, they run the blue tina estate in S/Pro, very nice people.
