A quick update on the Coupe,
I took the car for a quick spin, and i can confirm its mental
I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but boy it doesn't hang about, i was shocked to be honest, mind you its probably half the weight of my Charger, i can't wait to open it right up on the track, but before that hopefully get the car on a dyno to check the carbs are jetted right and see what the bhp is
I did take a couple of pic's, so i'll post those.
Front and rear glass is now in, the car has been undersealed, the seats are bolted down, and it sounds like all hell has broken loose on anything other than tick over
I might need to look at the pipes again

now rogue mate of mine put a coupe together granted it was a fibreglass car no fenders at all caged, suspension set up for circuit racing 3.70 diff
440 10.5.1 comp iron home ported heads, hydraulic cam circa 5,20 tunnel ram two 750 double pumps it ran 11.6 spinning its new slix like a son of a bitch would deffo of gone a low 11, if yours is similar maybe will give you an idea, he sold it after the first outing so never improved it,

Holy cow
I suppose when its dyno'd i can work out its power to weight ratio, there's a weighbridge near by,
The spec for mine is,
512ci
+30 pistons
10.5.1
Lunati cam (i'll have to dig out the spec on that)
Tunnel ram
Twin 650's
Stealth heads
Roller rockers
350 gears
And hopefully the car weigh's the best part of Bananarama! all

Hi Chaps thanks for the comments I'm now working up in Manchester as the work dried up at the last place, there's no wifi at the hotel so I'm sat in a Subway shop using there connection. I only have one weekend back before Wheels day, so the last couple of jobs will have to be done then, I've pulled the car out of Valley Gas, as car car is almost finished, I have to say Jimmy and Elle and the team have been superb and very professional all the way through the build and also a big thanks to MCK for all of his help, and all of the people on here for parts and advice ,it's been a long road but it's been a blast I can't wait to get back and drive the damn thing

Hi Everybody
I'm back from Manchester, six hours on a cross county train is not funny, anyway i went over to do a couple of jobs before Wheels day, but i could of done with a little more time to be honest.
I did manage to get some better shots of the coupe, you'll notice an extra plate under the gas pedal cos it was flexing the floor which kind of made the pedal tilt over, they also lengthened the pivoting bracket on the firewall to take some of the pressure of the pedal as well, which seems to have worked, i couldn't get any shots under the car but next time it goes up on the ramp i'll sort those picture out then.
I did manage to get inside and outside video footage, a friend of my has one of those bullet camera's which i strapped to the cage above my head, hopefully both videos will be edited together, because of the roof chop the inside camera only picks up internal footage.
As soon is its done it'll be uploaded on to youtube and then onto here via a link, so only picture for now, see you all at Wheels Day

Few more
I got the klaxon horn off a friend at work, when he was a boy his father had a 1928 Rolls Royce, when that got sold his dad kept the horn, it sat on the garage shelve ever since, i managed to buy it and it worked straight off the bat first time, i just rubbed some wire over a battery and nearly shot through the roof its bloody loud, solid brass under all that paint as well
