I was stunned myself when I saw your photos of that hood on FB. Never seen an aftermarket glass hood look so good. The finish was worth all the thought and effort you put into it mate. 8-)

Again thanks guys, I am just giving it my all, and having fun too,I am in limbo awaiting parts.

So I decided to tackle a very rare part with care, I have looked all over for these Gran Coupe emblems and they just dont exist,so plan B,

Restore them my self, I used tinted acrylic I have in my dental lab, here is how it came out, I am happy considering I cant find them, they are pitted and show some wear but my end result is fine with me :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Why do they swivel? Do they cover a key hole of something?

I'd enjoy restoring the small stuff myself. You've done a cracking job there mate.

I'm curious. Why would you have tinted acrylics in a dental lab ? ( I'm thinking the blue and red ?)
Is there a call for star spangled patriotic teeth ? ;)

Yes we use it for making mouth guards ,the kids like different colors,so I have a whole rainbow of colors,I hardly ever use it, and in this case it came in very handy.
