Cheers Stu. I joined a very small local car club recently and they organised a stand at a local agricultural show today. Only 8 cars and all British except mine. Car went down well as is unusual up here

Took the Challenger to the Newbury Classic Car show. Lots of interesting cars there and the weather was great.

Great pic Mark, the car looks really nice as always. The weather certainly looks to have been on your side!

Yeah, I always get the 'wow, look at that Cadillac' comments. Nice to get any compliment though so I'm not complaining at all

Was a nice day yesterday so any excuse really to get out. If Nicola has her way, you will need passports to join me!!!
I've been having a tiny issue with the car so the run out had another purpose. Last week I put 40 litres of Shell E10 with Frosts Ethomix stabiliser in. Almost as soon as I got going, she started playing up a little. The usual really smooth idle was replaced with vibration and very gentle surging when the throttle was held steady (not accelerating or decelerating). Pulled fine but just not right.
I got home and checked that all the plugs were firing (all ok) and I fettled the timing with a tiny bit more advance. I noticed my manifold vac had dropped a bit too. Hill start tests were all fine but still just not right.
When I was out yesterday, I filled up with a different brand of E10 (I can't get E5 locally) and by the end of the run she was much more 'normal'. Haven't checked the vac readings yet but will do next timeout.
I can only put it down to bad fuel. Its the only thing that has changed since the previous run out. Fingers crossed she's sorted now.
Cheers Steve

Is it possible to get E5 shipped to your door?

Well, I have been using the 'Cuda.
Took it to the "Thunder Road Cars" Open day in pretty grim weather, which improved throughout the day.....

Im just trying some different additives etc, should be fine. E10 will probably be our only option in a few years.
Thats a great pic Pete. Your car looks beautiful! Love the vinyl roof and the colour is stunning! Chengs car still looks great too

Yes, sorry Pete. We were waiting for a 'window' in the weather with didn't seem to appear until midday. By which time we thought most would have given up and gone home.
Did you get many visitors?
Rather annoying as it's one of my favourite days of the year. (sad i know)
