When I had the front of mine that low, it used to ground at speed on bumpy country lanes that's all mate.
Anyway, I think they look good with a little rake!

Think I'm re-discovering the passion for this car
right now!

looks nice John good work

..that windscreen my original was like the new one ..thats the locking strip once you slide the glass in up the grove in the rubber ..then ease the glass into place by lifting the rubber.... once all fitted correctly ..just clip the locking strip it together .

Absolutely, I loved mine, in fact it drove a lot like a modern car and was relaxing over distances too...

Thanks Steveo, I was worried that it was the wrong one.
Ivor I'm sure it will be sound. I didnt put frame connectors on but I will do later.
Driving it proper for the first time today, it felt a bit noisy and tinny. But with the screen in will be much better. The interior I've left out until the roof lining is in too. But it felt quite smooth and the gear changes were fine. Only felt the steering being heavy when it's absolutley stationary. And the brakes are good. The pick up felt a bit lifeless but it was maybe still cold (but I didnt abuse it!). The missus said it was lowd and I did drive past an old couple and they plugged there ears in disaproval.
I just need people to start buyin' new house's again, then I can put petrol in it!

Well I finally got my act together and got the 'Runner down to DM's today. With the help of my mate IanZ and the use of his transporter trailor.
It's now in the hands of the experts, and hopefully I can get it registered very soon.
Many thanks Ian.
