Car is back home now, still need to fit the grille and all the other things.
Wierd thing, the steering turns itself to the left when the engine is running. Only when the revs pick up a bit. Any ideas?
Dave mentioned something about a valve in the power steering box?
Any help much appreciated.

Follow the instructions in your workshop manual for centering the steering and adjusting the valve on the top of the steering box. Adjust the pitman backlash while you are on.
You know you have the valve right when the steering does not kick to one side when you fire the engine up (wheels off the ground).

That's outside Dave's place in the rain. This is the car on my drive when it stopped.
Still lots to do, got to connect those wires for a start(!)

They look like black windows , sorry Blue , gotta love those wheels , got em on the Pit.
Think i'd lower the rear a tad.

Yes, they are Black Windows. From North Hants Tyres, very nice people. The rear will be lowered to a slightly less dune buggy look.
On with the countdown...
