Well had a great day today and fitted the revised front suspension.
I had to extend the bottom arm 70 mm (slight mis measurement assumed the ball joints were in line and displaced by 60mm) it was simple mod and sat the car on its wheels with the coilover in and hey presto it works just fine and there is loads of adjustment when i get round to setting the angles.
So with a bit of final feteling I can strip it all down and get plated and painted, result.
Had enough time to start fitting the roll cage extension, as I am to tight to spend a hundred squids on a tube notcher and cutters for a half a dozen joints I searched for alternative metods and came across this post which worked out fine.
had some help from some old pro's who turned up and managed to get the roof bit in and prep the side members so now we know what we arte dooing it should not take to long.

After the roll cage it will be a taet fit for the engine and to sort out the brakets for the front and rear engine mounts,
Then it will be strip it all out againg to refresh the paint work and refiot.
Oh ah it getting there and thanks to you who know who you are for your :help:

Could not go to the HRD so reconciled myself with working on the Old gal.
The roll cage extention is now complete and fully welded just a few holes in the bualkhead to fill.
Also fitted a new purpose built ally dash so just have front floor panels and removable tunnel to fitt and all the major structural work is complete.
Finally got the gearbox parts out of customs at Coventry so its over to blue for a rebuiold of the original 727.
Trans brake looks an awsome bit od kit and the gearchange oh here are a couple of pics.
More when completed welding and rember to take camera.
