Well the time has come were i have to hold up the white flag and admit defeat ...My lack of knowledge and time to learn from my mistakes has come to an end .The Savoy has gone of to someone further up the food chain than me and hopefully the sound of that DaveB built motor will be heard soon ..stay tuned for hopefully some good news...i feel bad but if i carry on on my own with the time i have spare,,then it is going to run into next year .This story has to come to an end now

I take it it’s being worked on and then coming back, Pete? Not ending the story, just the working on on it chapter?

Thats a shame Pete. I cant help thinking that you have put so much really good hard work into your lovely car and that it will be amazing when its complete. Could you enjoy her for a while when shes done, have some fun as a reward for all your efforts and then see how you feel?
You know whats best obviously but your car is stunning and the envy of anyone into American cars. Whould love to see pics of you enjoying her, at least for a Summer or two
Hope all goes well at the garage Pete and best wishes,
Cheers Steve

to be fair Mark best part of it is self inflicted ,,,lack of knowledge and lack of time to do it and learn paid its price in the end .....My mistakes are still surfacing now but thankfully and hopefully they are easily and cheaply remedied .....come over with the big H for a tea and i will stick some bacon on the grill for a sarnie ......should have the car back soon

Well the car is back from MCK Automotives and it starts on the key and runs ...so massive step in the right direction .....I wanted all along for this car to look stock .. Mick has done a tidy job making the wiring look stockish and it starts with the original key which is nice ..no buttons and electric pumps just a good old fashioned key .....lots still to do ie rear axle which i will go into more detail when i get to it ,some trimming ie door cards and carpet ????yea carpet and yes it will be red ,,heat wrap on exhaust needs doing ,so nothing major but enough to keep me busy ...If i keep it i will race it at Dragstalgia so plenty of time to get it finished LOL
