Just thought I would put in a quick update.

The new motor is now in the car. But thats about it. Robbo, (the lad who is finishing the car off for me) has been really busy and I'm givin' him no pressure. There hasnt been any issues fitting the engine, apart from the starter motor :? but it's in place now. It wont be too long I dont think before he has it runnin', then there's just the interior to finish off.

Ive told Robbo there's no push, Christmas is comin', the goose is gettin fat and I'm off to, Gran Canaria for the Hols, 'n he's o.k with that. ;)

It would be good for it to be ready for my 45th, 20th Jan. That would be cool 8-)

Because Power shifting Ronnie Sox style with a bag full of nitrous will probably reduce you and the car to a quivering wreck in the quarter mile!
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

Well yeah......
but power shifting can do that anyway.....exploded clutch etc

there must be a way

the VW boys use it and few of them go automatic.
a VW automatic isn't.....it just has no clutch

i'll have a mootch in me old Volksworlds

Skint bro, got laid off at christmas. Company I was with suddenly went bang, left us all out in the cold.

Owes my boss 200K. He's tryin' to set up a deal himself with YEDL but he's lost his float money. Yorkshire want us back but these things dont happen over night. Maybe in the next week or two, I'll be back at work but who knows.

It's a Runner. \:D/

Just got off the phone to Robbo, he's had it running this morning. :thumbright:

Sounds good, oil pressure went up to 60 plus straight away.

Just got to cut the "H" pipe on the exhaust make it wider to fit to the header's and the hood back on and a damn good clean.

Then it's off to the M.O.T shop.

I just cant wait.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Al I need now is a job so I can put petrol in the damn thing
