Wow looks great with the lettered tyres and those wheels, i prefer them to the redlines on this car anyway.

So that WAS you at the Ford Vehicle Enthusiasts Day!!!!!!
"Hard as nails" seemed to be the general comment when I was looking round it!
Couldn't agree more. Nice one!
Not so sure about Tom Chilton wanting to drive the Model A as a touring car, though....

i must be the only one who doesnt think it looks quite right with those tyres, the wheels look good, superb in fact but i think it would suit plain tyres better (IMHO) still a tough looking car thou

Not so, you have exceedingly good taste
The new larger wheels and wider tyres make it look so much better, the old one's just looked to small .
I predict when the new tyres have the right amount of miles on them they will transform into a much better non white letter style of coolness
It's great to see the car looking meaner and meaner as it's improved rather than the normal show n shine type of resto finish
.

Thanks guys. Glad the general consensus is that she looks harder than before. Certainly still drives well. Yep, that was me at the Dunton Ford day - was wondering who owned the Challenger - it sounded awesome when it was struck up (i was nowhere near it but knew it was you). Let's say hello @ the Mopar Nats.
White letters will be there for the next 500 miles or so, then it's time for redline treatment.
Last night I 'won' on ebay some secondhand V trims and a rear window lower trim so am chuffed. The big jigsaw puzzle is coming together. Had another MMA member offer his white doorcards so will vinylkote those and fit them. Found an original 383 pie tin, master cylinder nearly arrived.....
MY BIG PROB NOW IS THE LITTLE PLASTIC ARM HAS BROKEN OFF THE SIDE OF THE H"LIGHT SWITCH WHICH MEANS THE VACUUM DOORS NO LONGER OPERATE. BUMMER>

Unfortunately i cannot find the actuator arm in order to glue the bugger back on. Perhaps I should make one from wire?? Not got a shape to follow though...
