I can put up with the Sublime on the outside, but couldn't face looking at it in the engine bay
Plumbing is a bit of a nightmare, trying to squeeze so much in a small area
Thanks for the nice comment

Hi Mark,
are those turbo pipes not going to soak up heat with them being Black,
Paul.

They could, i never really gave it much thought to be honest. Not saying its right, but seen plenty that were black.
I won't be using intercooler on the street, so ice at the track should take care of it.
I have blankets for turbos, I am informed the exhaust coating will also help reduce engine heat.

Black is a funny colour in that it transfers heat either way depending on which side is warmer.
So I would paint the pipes TO the intercooler radiator black to radiate some heat out (assuming ambiant engine bay air temp is lower than the compressed air temp) and polish the pipes FROM the intercooler to keep the heat out.
But if ambiant air temp under the hood is higher than the compressed air temp you need to polish all of it to get the lowest air temp in the pipes.

Might be less Dave for just a set of headers, that cost was for Headers, & the collectors to Turbo - almost like 1 1/2 sets of headers . . .

Get your header Aluminium sprayed Dave, it's about the only finish I've found that is reasonably cost effective and looks good for years, it will discolour but it won't go rusty.

Aluminium may look the part, but does not have anywhere near the same heat reduction properties.
Which was one of my primary objectives in choosing header coatings, otherwise, I would of stuck with plain old stainless
