Just been up had to swop the waterpump out for the one off the 383 motor. The botton hose outlet was on the right side of the engine. Still a few wiring issues but thats all. I think it will be M.O.T'd in the next few day's.
I'm back off up there now with a new thermostat.
No more pics until it's registered now. Or atleast until it's been washed anyway.

As from this afternoon the Road Runner is M.o.T’d. I’ve finally got a car that I can use. Although it isn’t finished yet, there is a long list of jobs to do but, I can get some use out of it this summer. I know it’s been a long time coming and I apologise for givin’ the impression it was nearly ready when it was not. I have always been a jumper of the gun! There has been quite a bit to do and although it’s not been worked on all the time, quite a lot of man hours have gone into it at Robbo’s. And so I am extremely grateful to him because without him I couldn’t have done it so a big thankyou Big fella!. I am on such a high at the moment. I’ve finally got to drive my Road Runner on the street for the first time.
I bought the car in 2005 nearly four years ago. Car arrived in June and I promised the wife a couple of grand and six month’s and the car would be on the road! Ha! Well I can laugh now because it’s all behind me.
I would also just like to thank these people for the help I'v had.
To Alex Doig and Ivor Hawkins who introduced me to the MMA (yeah it’s there fault I’m here if you want some one to blame). Thanks lads for the help and support you have given me.
To Dave Madders who imported the car from California and who sold me the car. And thank you for the windscreen. And for the headlining install
To the entire guy’s on here that have answered or helped with any stupid queries or questions or pointed me in the right direction for parts (long may that continue)
Brutus, for the wiper wiring, Jules for the dipstick tube, Nick for the seats, PaulW for the exhaust brackets. Knighcharger, ashtry. Apologies if I’ve missed someone.
To Cannonball for loads of stuff, trim bits screws springs etc.. Thanks for your friendly hospitality and patients Dunc.
To Dave Billidauex for the Heavy duty rear springs

To all the ebayer’s who have sold me stuff with a successful completion.
To Phillip Rumsam After bringing the car home from Cheadle he helped me set out the trunk floor and showed me how to weld. And for the help in the 383 engine rebuild. I’ve known Phil since we were 12 and honestly it wasn’t his fault! In the end a tappet had seized but he did warn me to replace the cam and tappets but I wouldn’t pay for new one’s because it already had a brand new cam. He worked on the engine in his spare time and for all this charged me nothing.
To Dave Kerr for the beautiful paint job, after giving the car to Dave prepped for paint or to the best of my ability Dave took over and spent many many man hours actually getting the car straight before he painted it. And what a stunning job he has done.
To IanZ who loaned me himself and his trailer for the day on two occasions to transport the car to and from Dave Madder’s in Cheadle
And to my brother-in-law, Kenton (who I work for) for letting me use my works van to tow Ian’s trailer.
Oh and to my next door neighbour Paul who helped me lower the body onto the K frame/engine/gearbox. He’s a big lad!
And finally to my missus for putting up with it all, Four cans of lager for you my girl, and no your not havin’ red wine, give’s you funny ideas!
