......9 SECOND SUPERBIRD .......
New series starts this Monday 29th April at 1.45pm..... ideal time for you self-employed types but not much use to the rest of usJem wrote:Had a great day filming the programme thanks Stew but alas I had to sign an NDA so unfortunately I can't say anythingRobTwin wrote:How did it go on the 21st Jem? Or have you been sworn to secrecyJem wrote:I had a call today from the production company that produces Four Rooms on C4.
They presented around a hundred different items to the C4 Execs last week and the Streamliner got through![]()
Filming is on the 21st December.
From now on you'll only be able to contact me through my Agent![]()
What I can say however is that it will be screened in April

Any idea when you're on Jem?

Remember the Vulcan Jet engine??
Stripped the whole thing down. Then had various parts blasted with soda, walnut shells and sand followed by a serious amount of polishing all the components. 85% of it is made of titanium. The combustion chamber took me a week to polish alone. All new aircraft-grade nuts and bolts have been used throughout - and there's a lot of them!!!!
Still in the process of reassembling it - lots of fuel lines have yet to go back on but I'm well pleased with the way it's coming along.
Last thing to do is the stand. I've drawn up the design so just needs my mate to engineer it.
What's it going to be? A floor standing up-lighter
My mate will spin up a reflector that'll sit inside the 'nozzle'. Add bulb and job jobbed!

So which episode of Four Rooms were you on Jem? Or did it end up on the cutting room floor?![]()
That series is being repeated in the evenings now, just wondered if it was worth watching....
