It did not get away, I chose to sell it.
It went back to the 'States and the guy bought the Daytona (426hemi, Auto, Dana 60) and the Petty Blue Superbird (440, Auto, 8 3/4) at the same time as a deal.
I was lucky to have them, but at the end of the day these things run their course.
I would prefer to have a cheap car to run around in and then go racing!!!

I used have a poster of your old Daytona on the wall at work Pete. Always got a lot of interest. Must have been around 2002/2003.

Yes, that was for a Photo Shoot for "American Car World".
The Daytona never made it to the Mopar Euro Nats for some reason....
The Chelsea Cruise was directly after that photo at Brooklands.
I got hopelessly lost and was driving aimlessly around Central London. Every punk wanted to race me off the traffic Lights.
Probably why I decided to sell it.....
