The hood you show in your post, i think they fitted that style on a cuda that was done on the Rides programe, the one they called Sick Fish and it looked really good on that car, as i see it, this is the one for you, its suits your needs, not only in height but also keep the car mean and moody,

Mo, is that minus an air cleaner too, as my air cleaner just touches the hood on hard launches.
When you say sport hood, do you mean the twin scoop i have ?

Hi Steve,
I would stay as close to stock as possible.
If you can get enough details about the size and clearance of the AAR bonnet, I would go with that.
But, what do I know
