,James, What i am saying, is i am with you..... in the sheer disbelief that capturing the moment is far more important than helping the ones in peril or grief.....modern media..moving down to the public level

Actually James. Public videos like this often help investigators after the event.

But to be honest. I would not have filmed it myself. I just couldn't.

I can't see she would of been much use helping as she sounds in shock, and too many people trying to help just end up getting in the way.

In this video of another crash with people to close to the cars this lady said she could not move. They were very lucky no one was killed when this Camaro lost control and went into the crowd.

Films like this show everyone how easy things can go wrong and hopefully safety will improve. If things like this don't make you realise what could of happened at the Priory.........

Oh, sorry Steve, I misunderstood your post.

Dave, is everyone so dumb these days that they can't remember what happened without having a video to remind them? And she clearly pushed her way to the front of the crowd of people to get a clear shot of the other people trying to help out. If she was so shaken by the whole event she should have walked (or be led) away from the scene and sit down.

Fair? Or Not?

Troy Critchley, 37, has been charged with six counts of vehicular homicide due to recklessness and 22 counts of reckless aggravated assault, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Relatives of victims and people who were hurt claim in lawsuits that Critchley was driving recklessly........

And if he had refused to do a burnout on the grounds that there were no safety barrier they would have blamed him too.

Tennessee Highway Patrol, that institution is well respected for it's engineering and vehicle dynamics nouce!

"So I decided to stand by the side of the road he was doing it on and watch, knowing full well what he was doing."

6 of one, half a dozen of the other. Still very sad accident, though.

Use the YouTube link in my post on the last page. That still works. Be warned, though, you are going to see dead people. :?
