Thanks Blue, i'll look into that.
I need to use the standard stuff to get through the DVS inspection first anyway.
As jersey is 40MPH max speed  and not far to get home from anywhere i might just try it. I'll reinforce the from end first anyway.

Has anyone on this forum used the Magnum Force Kit on the street?

As far as I know, no one in the UK has a Magnum force on the street. I use an Alterkation, which is a much better engineered kit, I looked long and hard at all the kits on offer before I ordered one. It was the only kit I could find no bad feedback about from owners. The Magmum force kit also increases the track at the front by about an inch each side which can look a little odd. Unless you are going for maximum weight saving or need the room for a big oil pan and big tube headers, I see no point changing from the stock set up, which when set up right is really very good indeed.

Well i hit my target for the weekend, and got a few jobs done around the house to boot.

So out/off the charger, engine, manual gearbox, together with K-member and steering.

Don't like the look of the brake lines, so looks like i'll renew all this.

If i decide to stay with the 4 speed i'll tidy all ths area too.

No rot on the frame or wheel arches (what a find).

Thats about it this weekend.

Need to start taking removed parts to bits to clean, and start that shopping list.

I agree with Blue on the K-frame bit. He has a big block Dart (and Darts were not designed for big blocks) so changing the front crossmember gets around a lot of issues in particular how to fit headers.

Your Charger however has no such issues. The stock K-frame is not very heavy. If you ever corner hard you will be glad of the strength in the stock suspension and steering components. Never do without a front anti-roll bar either. Even if the factory didn't think you really needed one.

Thanks for the advise, will keep the original stuff for now. Maybe uprate the torsion bars and roll bar.

Wanted to keep the momentum up tonight as i'm on a stag do in Bournmouth, getting boat over on friday returning sunday.

So split the engine gearbox and suspension.
And build the new engine stand.

A couple of strange things, flywheel was bolted on with 2 sizes of bolt??? 2 of one size 4 of the other. IS this right, cant find any referance in the manual.

And could this be trouble? The valley pan looks like it has been pushed up, Air expansion from the heat of the fire or detonation damage. No sharp dents visable.
