Keep one in every vehicle (mostly out of date  ) and one by me bench AND one strapped to the welder.
Had a fire in an Aus Charger- my dodgy wiring went up at 50mph
I've also set myself on fire welding an exhaust whilst lying under the car. luckily had several layers on cos it was mid-winter. The coat was a write-off.

We had a brand new powder one in the car last year and it was taken off us at the 1st meeting by the scuitineers at pod, they said it was too dangerous incase it went off or exploded as it could choke the driver! think its a co2 one in there now

Hey Marc! I heard the scruts at Santa Poo were taking peeps extinguishers and NOT giving them back, even after the meeting. Was that the case? At Shakey you HAVE to have one in the car, bit strange. :?

Best on the market was Halon, now replaced, I think by something called FP200. Good but expensive.

Anyone interested in an extinguisher bulk buy? I know a man who may be able to do us a deal.

I'm intrigued. Those who don't have all out racers, where do you have yours fixed? Ours is still rattling about in the passenger foot well waiting for a decision. It's got to be easy to reach, but not stick out like a sore thumb, to me. Was thinking under the front of the passenger seat on the front of the hump?

So tell me, where's yours? :help:
