Hi mate,
even though these stories make us all groan about the things and the prices they went for, back then they were seen differently.
S'funny how time changes. Here we are all gassing about the past...
Some great posts coming up lately.

I remember walking past a B Bod in a show n shine with Dave. The car was claimed to be all original. Almost survivor like. Dave nudges me n says, see that, that car got written off in the early eighties.
He could reduce ya to tears
They all have a history. I'm sorta glad I imported mine.

Well it's got a history somewhere Clivey
Have you done any history research on your car ??
I found an insurance card under the carpet in mine abd it had a name and address of a guy in San Fransico. I'm assuming it was the last owner but it's not nesacerily true. I did send a letter but heard nothing back for a while and after 12 month's had changed my email addy so if they sent something latter i would not have recieved. I know there's nothing origonal about my car It was far from orional when I got it but it would be interesting to know what has happened to the car for the last 38 yrs. It may well have been parked up for years at the side of a barn with grass growing through the trunk floor area.

But Im sure it's had some racing history too. When the car was stripped out he garage on axle stands, you could rock it as there was a 1" gap between axle stand and subframe on the front left corner.
It will have been a long time since it was seen at a show and shine
