Yes unfortunately Boss Hogg is usually there. I have to say that is the downside of this event. I can't stand listening to him.
Having said that....... I am not sure he was there in the last couple of years... 'Anyone confirm?

'fraid so
I didnt go to the Summer Nats last year
and dont remember seeing him at the Autumn Nats, but he still does 'Rally of the Giants' at Knebworth each year, so hasnt retired yet

Never had much time for him.... But after he done, what he done, to our little local club. I really hated him.

AACI has just changed hands from husband and wife running it, to a 'team' made up of other senior members. The couple are to spend more time running the shows.

He was there the weekend just gone,spouting the usual bull."they dont make em like this anymore","you cant buy a car like this these days"
and other such gems.Think he is loosing some marbles,the way he was waffling at the prize giving.
He ripped into a guy for having big wheels on Sunday.The vehicle in question was a 65 Chevy pick up with;
All ally 540Ci Dart motor.
Weiand 8/71 blower.
Twin demons.
Nitrous.

And the geezer had driven up from Penzance
Once the old goat had finished moaning about the truck,he got all excited over a late 70`s lincoln
and other such gems.Think he is loosing some marbles,the way he was waffling at the prize giving.
