Work something out with Terry, get it up to the running ,legal stage then get rid , save your money and forget the Beetle if your definitley off to Canada. Why give yourself more grief when your moving abroad imminently, i thouight it would be The Big Sale, at yours now , not starting out with another project. Get yourself over there and get yourself a little something to tinker with, then keep us wallys stuck over here updated via the forum. Just mytake on it Jeff.

Jeff,
After looking through the details you have given me and having a good think about my current position I think it would be best for me to say that I cannot place an offer on the car or parts.
Good luck with the sale if you end up selling it. Hopefully Joe will pull his finger out and you wont have to sell it.
Andy.

I reckon you are geeing everyone up in the hope that the "Matt Challenger style working party" will offer their services.
I reckon you should stop fannying about, stick your spray gun in the drawer and get it sorted yourself, or you'll be waiting until doomsday!

Ivor,
I have to continue with the painting mate..... Remember, the whole idea is to set up a shop in Canada. So that is very important to our future.
Also the vinyl thing is taking up a lot of time.
Plus the day job.
I don't expect anyone to come round and help. I hope that is not what you all think! After all.... I would not lift a finger to help you lot!

Typical trainee Canadian!
Seriously though Jeff, I think you should do what I'm doing with the Rapier.
Cut your losses and move on...after all, if you don't spend some time establishing your name in custom paint, you'll be twiddling your thumbs over there, wondering where the next buck is coming from.
Go on, get the for sale ad sorted!

I still need a car.... I do not own a car that drives, The last one was the Viva! I should have really kept the Droop Snoot. What was I thinking!

In which case, I would ask Terry to do a high speed "get it together and get it through a ticket".
Get it registered and use it as it is until you are ready to go...what's it going to cost 300 to 500 notes?
Anyway, you are likely to be in the UK for at least another six months, I guess.
