Tyreman - one further thought occured as I drove home tonight still annoyed about this... the problem here is that the dimbo-slobs that got the poor wretched creature in the first place will just go and get another one.
Why on earth do people do it ? They clearly didnt want a dog so what on earth are they playing at ? I wonder how long it will be before another poor creature finds itself in the same yard.
Is there any way to get them banned from dog keeping ? Not if the RSPCA cannot be arsed to get involved and prosecute I suppose.
grrrrr.

TYREMAN wrote:Thanks Lee,and it was good to talk to you today i will call you again tomorrow.
If it was not for the Distance i would be over to you right now!!! the Dog Warden is coming in the Morning if she is still out? and if she goes to the warden? then i will tell them if they cant home her?or sort the problem out! then i will take her

and then i will pass her on to you Lee thanks.
I have been advised to make sure the warden gets her otherwise this could be an ongoing problem in that if i take her to our good member Lee then my neighbors could just get another Dog and the problem will persist with another Animal.at least doing it this way they will be fined if they claim her, and the warden and council etc will be aware of them in future.
Some good news is She seems to be putting on weight

and the owners have even got a collar for her,its sad they wont do more

No problem Tony, if she comes to me, that will be brilliant. As long as she goes to a good home is the main thing though. Speak to you tomorrow either way

The latest update on this is they have now removed her from my yard, and have made a temporary fence to keep her in there own and have got her a Collar.I have spoke to the Landlord and they want the Dog gone asap within 7 Days or they are out, there is about a day left!

so it will be interesting to see what happens?? i have been trying to speak to them to tell them that i can take the Dog if need be and i will pass her on to Lee

but as yet i have not managed to speak to them yet this week as there is no answer from them, but no matter what i will get hold of them this weekend
They are lucky in that they were about 8 hours away from the Dog warden coming to take her,but he can not take her if she is now in her own yard

but he will come and take her same day if she is out again
I will update again over weekend.

I just told wor lass the outcome as she saw the original posts and was quite upset about it. We are both very happy that he has gone to someone that will look after him.
Billy wishes him all the best too.

well done guys.
Tony, said this before, but I think there's a vocational calling for you, what with dealing with animals in distress and getting troublesome MMA members in their beds safely.
