The cam was spec'd for the possibility of (a small amount) gas, and there is tons of mid range power, after my dads 1st full pass he said it pulled like nothing he'd driven before when you get it into 2nd and top, and that was after running the 9.2 with gas! glad your suited mate, should really make the pit shift

we never used gas on the 605 Ad, we were thinking of putting a 125 shot as thats what was on the 493, that last post wasnt so clear sorry, we ran 9.2 with the 493 on gas and 9.8 launching in 2nd with the 605 and thats what my dad said pulled like nothing else he'd driven before

Only concern is the roller lifters @ idle , will have a word with Blue regards the mods to the lifter valley (might help) , failing that will set the idle around 2000 rpm. :clown:

Goin on the street anyhows , with or without a throttle stop. :D

Got some Crower roller lifters from Bob Mazzolini, and a 550 lift Iskycam, instead of the 650 and give that a go!!!

Should be good for about 1200horses on unleaded(NOS free ZONE)???

Hi Cannon and Ball,

Got meself a nice 69 Hemi race motor from me old mate Julius in LA.

De-tuning it ready for street action!!!
Just looking for a good set of stock hemi rods?

If I can find a Keith Black Ali block, should have enough parts to build a nice race motor for Jimbo's Belvedere.

Its all good in da Hood!!!

How much lower is the valve spring pressure with the 550 cam compared with the 650 Baccy ?
