i actually like the look of that dash still looks a bit classic but you definitly have to go with that colour choice maybe with a black stripe or blue strip

General Lee owners get alot of stick/snide remarks in this club.
It was going on when I had a GL a few years ago and is still going on now.

Alot of people got into mopars thanks to the General Lee cars and alot of cars have been saved from the crusher because of it.

I'm fed up with it TBH.

Sorry to rant on your thread Jules but it dont half cheese me off!

Well said Matt :thumbright:

As you say it was the GL that got many of us into mopes and yanks in the first place.

And a GL driving round town will deffo get much more looks and smiles that any other yank, boy ricer or a crappy ferrari. :thumbright:

Matt, rant away mate, no worries ;)
Never heard of the telephone number gag before.
Just made me chuckle.
I understand where your coming from... it was programs / films like the Dukes / starsky & hutch / smokey & the bandit etc. that got me into yanks too. :thumbright:

What the heck's Love Boat? :D
I've got no problem with film cars, they were worthless junk when the original films were made,it's the remakes that annoy me. There's good money to be earnt with film car replicas. :thumbright:

Was thinking of that colour for my last car, but after the idiot destroyed my roof line, I definitely needed to have the vinyl refitted, and I wasn't keen on it with a vinyl. Silver yes, but not dark grey like this colour.

I've got a spare dash tucked up in the loft too :D which is handy if I need the rear frame for anything.

Gettin' all excited now
