Isn't there any issues spraying in really cold conditions .

Brilliant work from Pete - it does look better than with holes for the old Fender well headers.
Back to struggling for 45 minutes to put the plugs in, then
Taking the motor out of Julie's car tomorrow - such a doddle with no inner fenders.

Jerry, it was about 4 degrees when we were putting the paint on, the small heater I have wasn't helping much at all. Pete said that as 2 pack is chemically activated we would get away with it, it went on smooth and glossy so I guess he was right....

I as so happy the day Blue gave me the keys and let me race it at shakey!
Don't you just love painting in the cold? All my airbrushing is now done indoors, but clearing, basecoating and flaking has to ne done in the garage. I am planning a mini booth soon though!

Good work Blue!
I echo that sentiment, Jeff. Not a lot of people would drop the keys to their pride and joy in yer hand and be told to give it hell down the track...
I loved every, er, second of it!
Can't wait to drive Jem's....

Got a bit done today, All the front end wiring and gubbins re installed. Also getting ready to put the box in, here's the spec,
Billet steel front drum.
Billet piston and 5 high gear clutches.
Teflon pump seals.
Billet front and rear servo's.
solid race front band.
4.2 apply lever.
HD strut.
Lightened Sunshell.
Cheeetah reverse pattern valve body.
Deep steel pan.
Case fully deburred inside and out.
I have also modified the case with a plug so that I can fine tune the line pressure without removing the pan. You can see the area just above the pan line that has been built up with weld, ground flat, drilled, tapped and plugged.
